This project is what got my creative juices flowing again.......I made this 2010 desk calendar/mini album for my friend Christina. I printed all the calendars from THE CUTTING CAFE using the 2010 calendar set. This set comes with the calendars in circle and square and each month comes in 3 different sizes. You have to check out Regina printable stamps.....they are ALL amazing!!!
For this project I used the Vintage Findings Collection from MM, just a tad bit of the Recollections Autumn collection and for the Halloween Page, I used the MM Halloween collection. Lots of prima lace, prima flowers, and glimmer mist.
Hope you like it!!
Hugs, T

My family is the most important thing to me. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband, two beautiful children and two beautiful step daughters. They are the reason why I scrapbook. To see all my kids faces and hear them talking and laughing when looking at the Scrapbooks ............... is PRICELESS!!

HELLO EVERYONE!!!!! I'm back!!!
I know I have been missing in action but I had a really tough year......my husband was unemployed for most of the year but finally got a job the week of Christmas - YAY!! Then about 2 weeks before Christmas, my dad fell off a ladder onto concrete and had to be air lifted to the Trauma center with severe head injuries. He had internal bleeding in his head in 3 different areas which was causing swelling and pressure to the brain. We all received the BEST New Years gift......dad was sent home from the hospital and is doing much better. He will still be a bit aggressive and with head aches but all in all, he is here with us and doing great.
Here are a few projects I had done the last couple months. My creative juices have not been there for me but I didn't give us.
Hope everyone had a beautiful Christmas and I wish you all a Happy New Year!!!
I also just recently completed a mini desk calendar/2010 mini album using the 2010 calendar set from The Cutting Cafe. Stay tuned for a pictures slideshow and Utube video.
Big hugs,
T
This is a birthday card I made for my step daughter:
This year for Christmas, I made my kids teachers altered initials.....here is one:

Now....I am sure most of you have seen the Tim Holtz Grunge rose......well here is my version. I don't own the Sizzix Flower #5 die so I improvised......I used the 6 petal cut from the Accents Essential Cricut Cartridge in blackout. I used Rangers Gold Paint Dabber and glimmer mist in Red Velvet, Old Lace and Coffee Shop. Hope you like it.
Here is a project I made using the rose:

CHRISTMAS WITH THE CRICUT.......Layout
Now we all know how much I LOVE making layouts. I am currently working on a scrapbook album of my nephews first year. Each month I make a new layout so this was the perfect opportunity to get ahead of the game.
I made a window/door with a pocket. In the pocket I put 4 tags for journaling and/or pictures. If you notice, the tags are the same shapes as I used yesterday for my gift tag idea. I just LOVE those shapes.
The door/window is cut out at 6" for the bottom layer. This shape can be found on the Winter Woodland cartridge on Page 48 of your manual. The actual door/window is cut using pattern paper at 5 3/4" and in my Gypsy, I welded 4 small squares to make the peek through window and covered it with frosted acetate.
All the tags are cut at approximately 3.5" -4" using the Storybook Cricut Cartridge and the pocket was cut using the Fabulous Finds Cricut Cartridge. The "09" was cut using the Storybook Cartridge.
Products used:
Cricut Expression
Storybook Cricut Cartridge
Winter Woodland Cricut Cartridge
Pattern and glitter paper: K & Co.
Brads
Ribbon: Martha Stewart
Border Punch: Martha Stewart
Tab Punch: SU
Door Knob: Tim Holtz
Frosted Acetate
Key: Tim Holtz
Twill: Papertrey Ink
Distressing Ink: Tim Holtz
Pop Dots: SU
All the snowflakes and buttons on the word "Frosty" are from K & Co.
Now head of over to Christina's blog HERE......my DT sister ROCKED her layout challenge - YOU GO GIRL!!!!!
Thanks for stopping by!!!
